It was a good day.
Yesterday was a good day. As I sit here eating my leftover Chinese for breakfast in peace while the boys are napping I am thinking about yesterdays events. The morning started off a bit chaotic. The boys had a rough night, up several times including at 5am for a feeding and diaper change, this made us sleep a bit later than I wanted so I was running around like "a bitch with a stick up my ass" according to JP... Apparently I am a little bossy when I am rushed. After we all showered, bathed the boys and got the diaper bag ready to leave, I go to get the boys to put in the stroller. The first thing I see is J's head... A. had either spit up in his hair or was chewing on his head. J's hair looked like Cameron Diaz from There's Something about Mary, but styled with a different "fluid". Although the two fluids look very similar. Hahahaha. Ew. My apologizes... My mind goes to that of a 15 year old boy at times. Anyways. Get J. cleaned up and head out. The rest of the day goes pretty smooth. Boys had a doctors appointment and got some shots :( Came home poured and enjoyed a glass of wine while the boys played and continued on laundry... Yes, I am still doing laundry. Ordered some food and watched America's Got Talent.

Funny, I ate leftover Chinese for breakfast the other morning. Maybe its a twin mom thing?
ReplyDeleteMy twin boys are 15 months and we still have a rough night or two. I can tell by the way they act when I go into their room in the a.m. if its going to be a good or bad day.
I had to laugh at your movie reference. I see this same thing, but mainly on shirts, shoes, or Jeans.
I do want to know - Do you take the boys to get their shots solo? I can never manage to take my boys to the doctor alone. They run in different directions and there is no way I'm going to get them to sit still for me. The stroller seems to be a thing of the past. Sadly, I never did figure out how to do the shot scene without someone else with me to console one twin while the other gets the stick. Kudos to you!
By the way, I USE to love doing laundry as well. It was my favorite chore. These days they will get washed during a laundry marathon, folded at times of boredom, but NEVER put away. Our dresser drawers these days are the laundry baskets. Funny thing is the bubs laundry always get put away and hung up. Can't wait to hear more from you. Its interesting to compare our days.
